How your case then progresses will subject to whether you plead guilty or not guilty. Serious indictable offences commence in the Magistrates’ Court and then proceed to the County or Supreme Courts, either before a jury as a criminal trial, if you plead not guilty, or before a single judge as a plea of guilty.
